This Motor Racing trilogy starts in the mid-'thirties, in Volume I, extending over a period of seventy-five years into Volume III. Indeed a long time, not just in the preparation but, also, in the completion of this mammoth work.

Fortunately, the passage of time has given both maturity and vintage to the story, comparing the decades, adding enormously to a history which never will be lost. Interesting facts and details both for the benefit of a younger person and the pundit, who never fails enthusing upon a sport which has changed extensively, and not always for the better. Once a sport fit for Kings.

The international scene, specializing on FI, FII and III plus the big sports cars once competing for the 'World Championship'. The circuits, many of the best historical venues are now, lamentably, defunct. The driver living forever, the enthralling technical changes, the cars and the laws bring extraordinary duplicity for which the people involved, should be ashamed.

National racing is seen in detail; the behind the scenes activities which is never appreciated by spectators, hoping for value for money entertainment, huddled by the fences in all kinds of weather. The nearest experience the reader will come understanding the technique of extracting the maximum performance from a single-seater, sometimes described as a Monoposto, based upon the author's experiences.

'10 YEARS of ENDEAVOUR' is an in-depth narration about friends and acquaintances endeavouring to enjoy themselves to the full, during a period of ten years, which will be remembered forever thanks to this publication.

Grateful contributions by Sir Stirling Moss, O.B.E. F.I.E., Roy Salvadori, Tony Brooks and John Surtees M.B.E. are acknowledged
